I’m just wondering, what credit score do banks generally accept for a private student loan?

I’m going to get some Federal loans, but after that I’ll need more.

I also currently have a credit score of 682.

It’s not clear what you mean by “independent” student?

I’m guessing that you mean that you’re young, but that your parents have told you that you’re on your own as far as paying for school, so you’re wondering where you’re going to find the money to afford it all.

Question by : What is a good place that offers student loans for students that schools don’t provide for programs.?
I am enrolled in the fire academy and COM (the school I am attending) doesn’t do Student loans for continuing education. Is there a place that will do student loans without sending the money to the actual college. If not is there any suggestions on what to do. I have to get $ 1571.00 to pay for the school in a week.

Best answer:

The student loans have become absolutely vital considering the rising financial costs. But, the danger of not being able to pay puts the student in a difficult situation. However, programs designed for defaulted student loan help can serve as a blessing at this critical juncture.

Life is tough with a burden of loan on your shoulders. Therefore, loan rehabilitation programs should be encouraged and backed by the government. Income based repayment program (IBR), is just one of those programs which can help a student to rise from the burden of loan. The program has been around for some time now, since the month of July of 2009.
