Question by volleyballqt203: Will getting married affect my student loans?
I am in College and am paying for it with the help of student loans from Sallie Mae. My parents co-signed these loans and are making the payments on them until I graduate.
My fiancee is a citizen from another country and we planned on getting married.
If I get married, will it affect my student loans? He doesn’t really have any income and the loans are cosigned by my parents. Would the loan generally stay the same or would I receive nothing?

It is important for every student to minimise or reduce their loan repayments. Student loan review providers will consolidate all your loans into a single repayment amount. This is a good approach because it simplifies the management of your finances and you won’t be required to deal with a variety of repayments. You’ll have a single monthly payment, along with one rate, one payment due date as well as a single provider.

If you’re planning to go to college but you don’t know how to pay for it, you can always use the Sallie Mae student loan consolidation. You’ll receive a federal loan and if you can’t qualify for it, you’ll be offered other financing alternatives.
There’s no secret that the federal loans (the Federal Stafford Loan and the Federal Perkins Loan) have the best payback policies and interest rates on the market.
The Perkins loan is not that popular because it has a unique rule: the school will be your lender. For the Stafford loan, Sallie Mae can be the lender or both of them can guarantee for the lender.

Not everyone has the financial means to go to college. This is mainly the purpose of a student loan. It allows people to get a loan in order to pay their tuition taxes. A student loan can come in multiple forms; it can be a federal loan, plus loan or other types. The idea of a student loan is more than welcomed because the lack of money is the only thing that keeps you and your dreams apart. A student loan or more can fill the gap that keeps the student from getting a proper education.
